APE-SCENT GLORIOLA

MERYN CADELL is a man now. I wonder if anyone steals his sweaters?

C'EST L'HALLOWEEN!

It's been a busy week! Here are some photos from my Saturday night. I dressed up as "Friend Record" from SIZE SMALL ISLAND. Size Small was an obscure Canadian kids show. Every once in a while they would cut to a terrifying giant record with black tights banging wooden spoons in time with the music in the woods. I don't know if I got the costume exactly right cause there are no images on the web of the actual character (except for one of a drunk guy with a floppy costume on YouTube), so I had to build the costume from memory.

Not many people got the reference, but for those that did I think it opened up a flood of bad memories.

The above photo is me at Hotnuts with Mary Messhausen and PRODUZENTIN.

Here are some more photos that Jessica and LAURA took from the cab they were in while I walked cause my costume wouldn't fit:

WHATEVER HAPPENED TO...?

KRISS KROSS

THIS is what happened to Kriss Kross. Yikes. And, no, Kriss Kelly doesn't have leukemia - he has alopecia.

THIS WEEK'S "WHATEVER HAPPENED TO...?"

MAYIM HOYA BIALIK - AKA "BLOSSOM"

From Wikipedia:

At the end of Blossom, she chose to attend UCLA, despite reports that she was accepted at both Harvard and Yale. She stated that she wanted to stay close to her parents and did not want to move all the way to the East Coast. She earned a bachelor's degree in 2000 in neuroscience and Hebrew and Jewish studies, and went on to the Ph.D. program in neuroscience. She took a break from these studies in 2005 to return to acting. As of 2006, she is completing work on her thesis, an investigation of Prader-Willi syndrome. She is married to Michael Stone. She gave birth to their first child, a son, at age twenty-nine on October 10, 2005. Bialik is now involved in Conservative Judaism.

As for her future...that's anybody's guess...ain't no good reason for gettin' all depressed...

Here's THE OPENING CREDITS FROM BLOSSOM to stir up some sad memories.
